Real Clear Politics has the scoop on the race for California US House District 50 -- Randy Cunningham's old seat in the San Diego area -- Oceanside.

Brian Bilbray is running for the GOP. The fact that this is a GOP leaning district should help him, but Cunningham's crimes were so bad that it may not. What most people forget, too, is that Bilbray is a former congressman from the south bay area of San Diego County. Bilbray was not too liked in the North County.

But his opponent, Democrat Francine Busby? She encourages illegal aliens to vote for her.
